What is a Digital art?
Digital art goes further than art as we know it. This mixture of art and technology is more and more present because of the diversity of the digital supports. Indeed, digital art is an art generated by the computer. It represents all types of art using digital tools such as tablets, computers, etc…
Digital art is composed of animated or still images, including photos, videos, holograms, laser, virtual or augmented reality, computer-controlled projections, artificial objects, 3D printing, etc.
Digital art offers a wider choice of creation and technology to represent its art, thanks to the multiplication of supports. What does not offer the creations known as “classic” with painting, sculpture, etc… Digital art has also brought the possibility to create a new experience by being able to mix media and by involving the people who look at the work. Moreover, it does not necessarily require study or training because we can create it from a phone or a tablet for example. In this, imagination takes over and creation becomes accessible to a wider audience.
Sometimes disturbing, digital art impresses by the way it reflects a reality. Indeed, thanks to support diffused in 3D, physical creation is formed. Special effects are also often found in digital art, through a screen, a white wall, or sensors that can create virtual creations more real than life.
Digital art represents a new way of creating mixing new technologies and creativity. A real work of research and technique is realized to form creations always more impressive. Little represented in the previous years in the art world, this art is growing over time.
